By creating an account and using Workkonek.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the registration and use of the platform by workforce users, applicants, employers, companies, recruiters, and other authorized users.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering on Workkonek.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all provisions relating to privacy, data processing, profile visibility, and sharing of information with employers and companies. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not register or use the platform.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Workkonek.com is an online employment and professional networking platform that allows workforce users to create professional profiles, display qualifications, and apply for job opportunities. The platform also allows companies and employers to create company profiles, post job openings, review applicant profiles, and communicate with applicants and potential hires.

3. User Eligibility

By registering, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law, that the information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete, and that you will update your account information whenever necessary to keep it accurate and up to date.

4. Account Registration

To use the platform, users may be required to provide personal and professional information, including but not limited to full name, contact details, address or location, educational background, work experience, skills, certifications, training records, resume, profile photo, and other employment-related information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

5. Public Profile Visibility

By registering as a workforce user, you understand and agree that certain information in your profile may be made publicly visible on the platform. Publicly visible information may include your name, professional headline or summary, educational background, employment history, skills, certifications, profile photo, and other professional details that you choose to upload or publish. You acknowledge that any information placed in publicly visible sections of your profile may be viewed by employers, recruiters, companies, and other users of the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you make public does not contain confidential, misleading, excessive, or inappropriate content.

6. Consent to Collection and Processing of Personal Data

By registering, you expressly consent to the collection, recording, organization, storage, updating, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, and other processing of your personal data by Workkonek.com for legitimate platform-related purposes. These purposes include account creation and maintenance, profile publication and visibility settings, job matching, job application processing, employer review of applicant qualifications, communication regarding account activity and applications, verification, fraud prevention, platform security, service improvement, analytics, reporting, and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

7. Consent to Sharing of Information

By registering and using Workkonek.com, you expressly agree that your personal and professional information may be shared with companies, employers, recruiters, or their authorized representatives for employment-related purposes. This sharing may include viewing of your public profile, access to your submitted application details, review of your resume and qualifications, and communication with you about job opportunities, interviews, screening, and hiring decisions. You further understand and agree that when you apply for a job post, the information you submit may be disclosed to the company that posted the job vacancy for recruitment and evaluation purposes.

8. Employer and Company Use of Data

Companies using the platform agree that applicant and user information obtained through Workkonek.com shall be used only for legitimate recruitment, employment, screening, evaluation, and workforce-related purposes. Companies shall not use personal data for unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or unauthorized purposes; shall not sell, publish, or redistribute applicant data outside the platform without proper legal basis or consent; shall not collect excessive data that is not reasonably necessary for hiring or employment purposes; and shall not misuse remarks, notes, or employee-related records in violation of applicable law or privacy rights.

9. Internal Remarks by Companies

Workkonek.com may allow companies to create internal remarks, notes, evaluations, or hiring comments relating to applicants or employees. By using the platform, company users agree that such remarks must be lawful, professional, relevant, and non-defamatory, and must not contain false, malicious, discriminatory, or abusive statements. Companies are solely responsible for the content they create, upload, or record within their accounts. Workkonek.com reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that misuse this feature.

10. Data Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, registered users may have the right to be informed about how their data is processed, to access their personal data, to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, to object to certain processing, to request deletion or blocking where appropriate, to withdraw consent subject to legal and contractual limitations, and to file a complaint with the proper regulatory authority.

11. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent to certain data processing activities by closing your account or submitting a request to Workkonek.com, subject to legal and operational limitations. Data already shared with employers as part of an application process may remain subject to the employer’s own lawful retention obligations. Certain data may also be retained where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, recordkeeping, or enforcement of platform rights. Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to continue using some or all platform features.

12. Data Accuracy and User Responsibility

You are responsible for all information you submit to the platform. By registering, you confirm that your submitted information is accurate and not misleading, that your uploaded documents and credentials are authentic, that you have the right to upload and share the information you provide, and that you will not impersonate another person or entity.

13. Prohibited Acts

Users shall not use the platform to upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information; post offensive, unlawful, discriminatory, or defamatory content; harvest or scrape user information without authorization; interfere with the security or operation of the platform; use another person’s information without lawful authority; or post jobs or profiles for illegal, deceptive, or abusive purposes.

14. Platform Security and Protection Measures

Workkonek.com shall implement reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, or destruction, subject to the limitations inherent in internet-based systems and technologies.

15. No Guarantee of Employment or Hiring

Workkonek.com does not guarantee that workforce users will receive job offers, interviews, or employment, and does not guarantee that companies will find suitable candidates. The platform only provides tools for profile creation, visibility, networking, and job matching.

16. Suspension or Termination

Workkonek.com may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms and Conditions, applicable law, or platform policies, with or without prior notice when necessary to protect the platform, its users, or the public.

17. Amendments

Workkonek.com reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after such changes shall constitute acceptance of the updated Terms, unless otherwise required by law.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines and other applicable laws, rules, and regulations relating to data privacy, electronic transactions, and online services.
